A flexible summer skills program that delivers engaging reading instruction to address achievement gaps and prevent the “Summer Slide”
Engaging summer instruction that can reach students in need without burdening existing staff.
Students attend a weekly online class where they participate in lively discussions and keep their reading and comprehension skills sharp throughout the summer months.
Flexible sessions are offered throughout the summer months and can be held on campus or at home.
Small group classes are facilitated by a highly-trained IRD instructor. One-on-one ELA support is also available on demand throughout the program.
3+ hours of extended learning
Our classes offer at least 3 hours of extended learning each week that will build vital skills and help students enter the next grade with confidence.
IRD also provides the comprehensive, behind-the-scenes support your district needs, including customized outreach to boost enrollment, program implementation, dedicated technical support, and post-session reporting.
